Domestic Waste Services & Collection

Domestic Waste Collection is available within the Oberon town limits.

Bins are emptied early Wednesday mornings for residents west of Dudley Street, and early Friday mornings for residents east of Dudley Street.

If your bin is damaged or needs replacing, please complete this form(PDF, 47KB) and send to council@oberon.nsw.gov.au

Council Waste Depots are closed on Public Holidays.

• Monday 05 October 2026 - Labour Day
• Friday 25 December 2026 - Christmas Day
• Saturday 26 December 2026 - Boxing Day
• Monday 28 December 2026 - Additional Day due to Boxing Day being a Saturday
• Friday 1 January 2027 – New Years Day
• Tuesday 26 January 2027 – Australia Day
• Friday 26 March 2027 – Good Friday
• Saturday 27 March 2027 – Easter Saturday
• Sunday 28 March 2027 – Easter Sunday
• Monday 29 March 2027 – Easter Monday
• Sunday 25 April 2027 – Anzac Day
• Monday 26 April 2027 – Additional Day due to Anzac Day being a Sunday
• Monday 14 June 2027 – Kings Birthday
