Transport for NSW has announced that two engineering solutions have been shortlisted to restore the Great Western Highway at Victoria Pass.
The shortlisted proposals, developed by specialist engineering consortia, are now being assessed in parallel to determine the safest and most efficient option to reopen the road. This process is expected to take place over the coming weeks, with early preparation works already underway on site.
Victoria Pass remains closed while experts continue to address significant structural issues affecting Mitchells Causeway. The road will not reopen until engineers are confident it is safe for the community.
