Self-Care Units – Expressions of Interest

Oberon Council is accepting applications for the Council operated Independent Living Units.

Expressions of Interest are now invited from eligible applicants. Applications will be accepted until 4.30 pm on Wednesday, 30 September 2026.

To be eligible for Oberon Council's independent living units, an applicant must:

Be a resident of the Oberon Council local government area
Be capable of living independently
Meet the eligibility criteria set by the independent living unit panel
Meet the medical requirements to maintain independent living
No pets are allowed in Council’s Independent Living Units unless approval has been given for an Emotional Support Animal (ESA)
Meet the financial requirements

Submit your form by email to community@oberon.nsw.gov.au or drop it off to our customer service staff at the Administration Centre during business hours.

Expression of interest will close at 4.30pm, Wednesday 30th September 2026
