Have Your Say Oberon: Help Shape Oberon’s Future Waste Strategy

Oberon Council is inviting residents and businesses to participate in an upcoming community survey which will help shape the future of waste management and recycling services across the Oberon Local Government area.

The way we manage waste is constantly changing and as we move towards increased regulatory requirements, it’s more important than ever to seek the community’s views in relation to waste management.

During the community consultation undertaken by Council as part of the preparation of Oberon Council’s Integrated Planning and Reporting suite of documents, Council received significant feedback about waste services. This survey provides an opportunity for community members to have input into the development of our Waste and Resource Recovery Strategy for the future.

The Waste Strategy will set the framework for how waste services are delivered in the future in Oberon. The survey will be available on Have Your Say Oberon from Friday 5 September 2025 and will close on Friday 19 September 2025. All feedback will be considered in the development of the final strategy.
