10am Muster at the O’Connell Hotel for commencement of the commemorative procession along the Avenue, O’Connell Road, O’Connell.
EVENT HIGHLIGHTS

• Attendance by a Notable Military Dignitary
• Tiger Moth aircraft fly-past
• A stirring Light Horse enactment
• Planting of a Desert Ash tree, grown from original 100-yr-old rootstock
• Unveiling of commemorative plaque mounted on local sourced pink granite
• Bathurst Air Cadet Group participation including Catafalque Party
• Bathurst City & RSL Concert Band participation
• Haunting bugler tribute performance
This event is proudly organised by the Community Guardians of the O’Connell ANZAC Memorial Avenue of Trees, a sub-committee of the O’Connell Valley Community Group, with assistance from both Oberon and Bathurst RSL Sub-Branches.
PARKING IS AVAILABLE in both the O’Connell Recreation Ground and St Thomas Church grounds (enter via Beaconsfield Rd, O’Connell).
