PUBLIC EXHIBITION - INTEGRATED PLANNING AND REPORTING

As part of the Oberon Council’s Integrated Planning and Reporting requirements Oberon Council has prepared a suite of documents which are currently on public exhibition as follows:

1.   Oberon Community Strategic Plan 2019 - 2040

 

2. Draft Community Engagement Strategy - Policy 1120

 

3.   a.    Draft 2022-26 Delivery Program 0.7% scenario

      b.    Draft 2022-26 Delivery Program 2.1% scenario

 

4.   a.    Draft 2022-23 Operational Plan and Long Term Financial Plan 0.7% scenario

      b.    Draft 2022-23 Operational Plan and Long Term Financial Plan 2.1% scenario

 

5.   a.    Draft Statement of Revenue Policy 0.7% scenario

      b.    Draft Statement of Revenue Policy 2.1% scenario

 

6.   a.    Infrastructure Asset Management Plan

      b.    Water & Sewer Asset Management Plan

      c.    Building Asset Management Plan

      d.    Roads Asset Management Plan

 

7.   Workforce Management Plan

 

Hard copies of these documents can be obtained from Council’s Administration Centre, 137 Oberon Street, Oberon.

Councillors and Senior Management will be holding community consultation sessions over the coming weeks and a copy of the presented of the draft documents is available for viewing on Council’s website at https://www.oberon.nsw.gov.au/public-exhibition-operational-plan

Community Meetings will be held as follows:

  • Black Springs Community Hall, Monday 9 May commencing at 6.00pm
  • Burraga and District Sport and Recreation Club – Thursday 12 May at 6.00pm
  • Robert Hooper Community Centre, Oberon – Monday 16 May at 6.00pm
  • O’Connell Rural Fire Services Shed – Monday 23 May at 6.00pm

The final documents will be presented to the 21 June 2022 Ordinary Council Meeting for adoption.

Community feedback will be received at Council until 4.00pm on Wednesday 1 June 2022. Submissions can be emailed to council@oberon.nsw.gov.au or handed to our Customer Service staff at the Administration Office.
