Mayoral Column Media Release - 28 February 2019

Thursday 28 February 2019

It was good to hear the announcement from our Local Member Paul Toole last week in relation to an extra Bathurst Bullet Service to commence in 2020. It was even better to hear that the Bullet Mark 2 will stop at Tarana. This is something that Oberon residents have had on their wish list for many years. The annual International Women’s Day Mayoral Lunch will take on a different feel in 2019. I thought this year it would be great to give Oberon women who would normally be at work the opportunity to join us; hence the event will be held on Saturday March 9 at the Robert Hooper Community Centre commencing at 12.30pm.
