There are lots of great events happening around NSW during Seniors Week. The following events are planned in the Oberon community.
Oberon Council and Evans Community Options will present a Seniors Expo at Oberon High School Hall on Saturday 15 March beginning at 9.30 with a morning tea. Everyone is invited to attend. There will be a variety of guest speakers and information stalls set up throughout the day. Lunch will also be provided.
On Monday 17 March start the Seniors Week celebrations with an exciting Mystery Trip. Meet at the Fleming Street bus stop at 9.30am for a 45 to 60 minute bus ride finishing at the Community Centre for a delicious morning tea. Bookings are essential and the Mystery Trip is free of charge. Please phone Council on 6329 8100.
Join us on Thursday 20 March for a Seniors Luncheon at Oberon High School.  Lunch will be prepared and served by Hospitality students from Oberon High School and St Joseph’s High School.  Enjoy some wonderful entertainment and performances by school students from the Oberon LGA. Transport is available on request; please contact Council on 6329 8100 for more information.
On Friday 21 March meet at the Fleming Street bus stop for another thrilling Mystery Trip throughout the Oberon area. The trip is free of charge, 45 to 60 minutes in duration, and will finish at the Community Centre for morning tea. Bookings are essential so please phone Council on 6329 8100 to reserve your place.
