The water at Abercrombie River on Abercrombie Rd is now under the bridge and passable.

 

ROAD UPDATE 26 AUGUST 2015 3.20PM

Brisbane Valley Creek and Native Dog Creek on Sewells Creek Road are no longer impassable, the water has subsided. 

The Abercrombie River at Abercrombie Rd is still running over and impassable. It is likely that Abercrombie Bridge will remain closed overnight. 

Upper Lachlan Shire Council have advised a diversion is in place via Tuena/Crookwell. 

Many other low lying causeways have not been inspected at this time, motorists are advised to use extreme caution and avoid driving in flooded areas.

 

ROAD UPDATE 26 AUGUST 2015 11.20AM

Abercrombie River has run over at the Abercrombie Road crossing and become impassable.

At this time Brisbane Valley Creek and Native Dog Creek on Sewells Creek Road have both run over the causeway.

 As a result of the continuing rain some low lying causeways have run over or could potentially run over with more rain.

Many other low lying causeways have not been inspected at this time, motorists are advised to use extreme caution and avoid driving in flooded areas.
