OBERON MEN’S SHED APPRECIATION LUNCH - Almost every month the gentlemen of the Oberon Men’s Shed volunteer three hours of their time to assist council with the folding of the Oberon and Surrounding Villages Community Newsletters. Members also assisted Community Services staff during the school holidays by conducting a “build a mini go kart workshop”.

The long anticipated work to replace the Abercrombie Bridge and remediate the approaches has commenced. The joint $1.5million project will see the replacement of the fifty year old wooden bridge with a relocated concrete culvert bridge. This will greatly improve the safety of traffic using the Abercrombie Road and will better cope with any future flood events. The total project is expected to be completed by early June.
