Oberon Council Planning and Development COVID-19 Procedures

Due to the current situation involving COVID 19, Oberon Council has closed the Administration Building to the public.  Currently the Planning and Development Department is operating, but with the following changes;

FREE TIP DAY - Sunday 29th March 2020 is still on.

A reminder about Council's free tip day. FREE for all household and domestic rubbish.
 
All commercial/business/industrial waste and Commercial vehicles will incur the standard tipping charges.

LOCAL STRATEGIC PLANNING STATEMENTS - CONSULTATION CANCELLATION

The consultation which was scheduled to take place at the Robert Hooper Community Centre on Wednesday 25 March 2020 commencing at 6.00pm has had to be cancelled due to the current developments regarding the COVID-19 virus. The consultation session was designed to give residents information on this new strategic planning approach prior to the document being placed on public exhibition.
 

OBERON COUNCIL CLOSURES DUE TO COVID-19

Oberon Council wishes to advise that due to the ever increasing restrictions being put in place by Federal and State Governments a decision has been made to close all Administration and Community halls to the public for the near future. These closures directly relate to the Visitors Information Centre, the Oberon Library, the Oberon Council Administration Centre, the Robert Hooper Community Centre and the Black Springs Hall.

Oberon Council met this afternoon with representatives from the Oberon MPS, Oberon Medical Centre, Oberon Ambulance Station and Oberon Pharmacy to discuss the current COVID-19 situation.
