NSW Solar Bonus Scheme - Information for Customers

The NSW Solar Bonus Scheme (the Scheme) is coming to a close on 31 December 2016. After this time Scheme customers will no longer receive a subsidised feed-in tariff of 60c or 20c per kilowatt hour for the electricity their solar PV systems add to the grid.

In order to facilitate a smooth transition for Scheme customers, the Department of Industry - Resources and Energy Division will be hosting a series of Energy Opportunity Workshops in metropolitan and regional areas across NSW in November and December.
At these sessions an independent energy expert will explain how the changes to the feed-in tariff will affect customers, what they need to do in the lead up to the closure and the important steps they need to take to get the best out of their renewable energy system after the closure.

The sessions will be held in:

•    Newcastle
•    Ballina
•    Parkes
•    Bellingen
