MY COMMUNITY PROJECT - The My Community Project is a new funding initiative by the NSW Government which will improve the wellbeing of people and communities in NSW. Each electorate in NSW has been allocated approximately $260,000 in funding for community projects in this round of the program. In May 2019 the Oberon community were asked to nominate projects to receive funding from the My Community Project Program. Projects must align with one of six program categories – Accessible Communities, Cultural Communities, Healthy Communities , Liveable Communities, Revitalising Communities and Safe Communities.

Oberon Residents are invited to vote for the projects nominated within the Bathurst electorate which they would like to see funded.
Who is eligible to vote ? - Anyone aged 16 years and over with a valid Medicare card can vote.
All voters will be required to be verified through Service NSW
To vote people will need to:
• provide their NSW residential address
• use their Medicare card to verify their identity and age
Where can people vote? People can vote online using a
• Desktop computer
• Tablet or mobile device
• At their local Service NSW Service Centre

Eligible voters will be able to select three to five projects as part of their vote. Voting will be open from 15 July to 15 August 2019. You can only vote ONCE.
