Essential Energy will be conducting aerial inspections of powerlines and electrical infrastructure in Oberon, Bathurst, Blayney and surrounding areas over the next couple of months.
From late March 2017, a fixed wing plane will be used to identify damaged or deteriorating network assets and potential vegetation encroachments.
If there is an issues detected in the aerial inspections, Essential Energy will contact the affected landholders and organise crews to attend and undertake any necessary repairs.
Essential Energy is urging any property owners with sensitive animals to contact them on 13 23 91 to organise a call advising of the fly over so that alternative arrangements can be made prior to the aerial inspections.
