Upper Lachlan Shire Council and Boorowa Council are pleased to advise that the repairs to the Reid’s Flat Bridge have now been successfully completed. The repair work was completed within budget and on time.
The temporary Bailey bridge units will be removed Friday 8 November 2013 and the bridge will then be open for normal traffic use.
Motorists are advised that during the removal of the Bailey units and the associated temporary approaches and support systems, the bridge will be closed to all traffic for an estimated period of 6 hrs commencing at 9.00am on Friday 8 November 2013.
Both Councils would like to thank the community for their patience throughout the project as well as Hawkins Civil, the contractors who have undertaken the work in a highly professional and timely manner.
