HASSALL PARK – NEW WASTE BINS
Last week Council installed 6 x 240 litre clip lock waste bins, in attempts to combat the on-going issue of overflowing rubbish being dumped within the O’Connell Park. We will continue to monitor usage in this area.
MAYFIELD ROAD CONSTRUCTION
The final leg of the construction of a new crossing over Wiseman’s Creek on Mayfield Road involved the road being realigned. Traffic has now been “diverted” onto the new crossing and gravel road surface. Guardrail is expected to be installed by a Contractor next week, with the final bitumen seal expected for completion in September. We will continue to tidy up and re-shape the works site and soil roadside batters.
