Roads & Maritime Services (RMS) have approached Oberon Council seeking engagement to undertake various upgrade works along the Great Western Highway at Hartley. The 3 x work projects are currently being scoped by Council RMCC Project Engineer and anticipated to be in the vicinity of up to $150,000 as follows:
1) Jenolan Caves Rd & Great Western HWY Intersection – Installation of new drainage culverts to address the collection and disposal of road pavement sheet water across the road surface.
2) Forty Bends – Drainage culvert project to assist water off the road corridor
3) Upgrade 2 x Private Driveways for the RMS as part of the GWH/Hartley corridor upgrade.
Works are currently being programmed to commence from Monday 18 March 2019 and anticipated to take approx. 6 weeks to complete.
