The Oberon Council will be holding the Biggest Morning tea to help raise funds for the Cancer Council Australia. The morning tea will be held 10am - 12pm on Thursday 25 May 2017. There will be a gold coin donation.
Everyone knows someone affected by cancer. Today, there are more than 1.1 million Australians who are either living with cancer or who have survived a diagnosis. The Cancer Council is the leading cancer charity in Australia, uniting the community, creating hope, providing support and saving lives. Whether it’s helping people today, or being there for those who’ll need them tomorrow, the Cancer Council works across every aspect of cancer and relies on the generosity of community donations to fund their work and help achieve the Cancer Councils vision of a cancer free future. The money raised from Oberon's Biggest morning tea will help fund vital cancer research, prevention programs, advocacy and support services for those affected by cancer.
